Till Steinbach was honored at the IAV Talent Innovation Day for his work “Ethernet-basierte Fahrzeugnetzwerkarchitekturen für zukünftige Echtzeitsysteme im Automobil” in the Excellence category. On November 1, 2018, the Berlin engineering partner IAV organized a day for interested young talents, the “IAV Talent Innovation Day”. Within this context, top students and graduates were awarded the “IAV Talent Award” for their project and final theses for the first time.

“Experience the world of tomorrow’s mobility up close” - under this motto, IAV, as one of the world’s leading development partners for the mobility industry, offered an inspiring day to STEM enthusiasts from science, industry and the media at the IAV Talent Innovation Day - filled to the brim with trend-setting program items. In addition to presentations on cutting-edge IAV innovations as well as captivating lectures and workshops, all participants had the opportunity to establish professional contacts with the industry and discover exciting fields of work. The Classic Remise Berlin provided the right ambience for the event - especially with the thematically contrasting around 300 classic cars that were exhibited there.

The IAV Talent Award was also titled “Mobility of the Future”. This award, endowed with a total of 12,000 euros, is presented annually in honor of the company’s founder, Prof. Dr. med. Hermann Appel - in the prize categories “Excellence” (dissertations), “Projects” (project work) and “Hermann Appel” (theses by IAV students).
